With F40PH-2CAT #4121 in the lead, NJT Raritan Vallew Line train #5533 conducts its business at Bound Brook, NJ station, then off on its way towards Raritan. Barely noticeable in the video is while the train is stopped in the station there was an awful lot of blatant trespassing going on just to the west, and even some who brazenly crossed in front of the train as it departed Bound Brook, with sounding of the horn just as the train leaves (oddly enough I listen to the NJT radio channel, and didn't at all hear the engineer call it all in!!). The shortly there after as the train heads on its way, no video of this could be complete without listening the the 4121 sing her song at the Vosseller Avenue grade crossing and the next crossing following....what a beautiful tune on the K5LA!!! That Doppler/Echo Effect is AWESOME, epsecially with the winds blowing out of the west direction to carry the sound!! This camera caught too much wind noise....being at Bound Brook in person to witness it brings it out far better!!!

I TRULY HOPE SOMEONE, ANYONE, FROM THE NJ TRANSIT POLICE AND CONRAIL POLICE READ THIS..... TRESPASSING AT CP BOUND BROOK AND THE R.V.L. RIGHT OF WAY IS VERY EXCESSIVE!! CONSIDER KEEPING MORE VIGILANT WATCHES HERE!! BROUGHT TO YOU BY A RAILFAN AND RAILROADER!!

AND TO ANYONE WHO WATCHES MY VIDEOS.....PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS FOR THE SAKE OF OUR GREAT HOBBY!! THE VAST MAJORITY OF RAILFANS DO OUR ALL BEST TO RESPECT THE PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES, AND ALSO ACT IN REGARD TO OUR OWN SAFETY AND OTHERS. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER RESTRICTED AREAS FOR RAILFANNING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE....YOUR DOING THOSE ACTIONS MAKES THE RAILROAD AND LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS HAVE A FIELD DAY HARASSING US...BECAUSE SOMETIMES THEY CAN NOT TELL BETWEEN A RESPONSIBLE RAILFAN AND AN IDIOT WHO HAS NO BUSINESS BEING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY ESPECIALLY AT THE RISK OF HIS/HER OWN LIFE!! BROUGHT TO YOU BY A FELLOW RAILFAN....AND A RAILROADER!! PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ME VIDEO A TRAGEDY!! STAY OFF THE TRACKS AND OUT OF RESTRICTED AREAS ON RAILROAD/TRANSIT PROPERTY!! THANKS!!
AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO DO VENTURE ON THE TRACKS, AND IF I SHOULD SEE IT, I WILL CONTACT THE POLICE, WHETHER YOU ARE A FELLOW RAILFAN OR NOT!! STAY OFF THE TRACKS, PLEASE!!

  • Paul man, wow, you got in this consist 2 ex-Comet II cab's! Wish those were never converted to coaches!

  • I've railfanned B.B. many times. The only NJT F40's I haven't seen on "BB Days" are 4116, 4117, 4118, and 4120.

  • I always stay at the station. The freight line passes right behind it.
