An American oil company located in a South American town is looking for drivers to haul nitroglycerine over the rugged terrain. Four expatriated men who have nothing to lose take on the job, for which theyll each be given $10,000 and the reward of legal citizenshipif they live. Sorcerer is a 1977 action-adventure film, produced and directed by William Friedkin, starring Roy Scheider, Bruno Cremer, Francisco Rabal and Amidou. It is a remake of the 1953 French film Le Salaire de la Peur (Wages of Fear). Sorcerer followed Friedkin's highly successful The French Connection and The Exorcist.

The only problems I have with this scene are that there were so many parts of the truck left identifiable, and the body largely intact. They probably would have been largely vaporized when that quantity of nitro went kablooey.
