An informal chat between Pat Daily and Dave Rees under the trees at Comsat with two of his classic Jumbo / Coconut Scale ships, the General Aristocrat and the Cub Coupe. The footage from this 1991 annual DC Maxecuters Summer Contest closes with a beautiful flight of Dave's prototype General Aristocrat. Plans for the Aristocrat were published in Flying Models magazine, 10/89 while the Cub was published in 6/92.

  • Still is. Google Flying Aces Club and check out the various clubs.

  • how did he put the rubber in the plane with that piece of wire?

  • It's not a wire, but a wooden dowel, called a stuffer stick. Prongs on the end hold the rubber open about 1/4" allowing him to slide it over the rear peg.
