ORDER THE NEW ALBUM plus BONUS TRACK here: http://tinyurl.com/nemesea
"The Quiet Resistance" is the third album by the Dutch formation and offers a more mature, modern, and contemporary approach than that found on Nemesea's two previous efforts. Although the band continues to stay true to its characteristic style, they do not shy away from including new elements and details to refresh their sound. The guitars and Manda Ophuis' outstanding vocals continue to be the driving force behind Nemesea. Manda perfectly understands which web of emotion to weave for each particular track and how to make use of her fantastic vocal lines to breathe life into the lyrics. With extremely appealing songs like "Afterlife", "Caught in the Middle", or the beautiful ballad "If You Could", the alternative rock quintet have several surefire hits from the get-go. Nemesea's "The Quiet Resistance" offers intense and soulful alternative rock complete with a subtle breath of gothic and loudly demands the attention the band undoubtedly deserves.

  • This is amazing material. The melodies are INCREDIBLY strong; very distinct and beautiful, the singer is absolutely excellent, and the album's diversity is spot on. People looking for metal will be disappointed, mainly because this is not conventional metal. It's closer to light symphonic metal; perhaps electronic metal, or electronic rock. It's tough to categorize, but it does have a very similar feel to light symphonic metal, even if it does lack the heavy orchestral or choir segment.

  • :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

  • I think this group is pretty awesome. I found them on ebay when looking into Evanescence. They have a sort of similar feel.

I don't see how some people can say the lead singer is 'horrible" I'm a singer and I know how hard it is to sing these songs like the lead does (in a chest tone) and it is very tiring and hard to do. To people who don't think the lead singer did a good job, I want to see you sing it better, make a video response, and then get a freaking record deal if youre so much better.

  • @InvUnk Try to sing it better; chest tone is actually hard and those notes aren't actually easy to hit.

  • @mydream19777 You have to learn that others are able to form opinions.

  • @ChaoticElegy u have to learn to listen real music little one

  • @mydream19777 Then don't listen to it.

  • I am very tired of this type of commercial metal

  • This right here is one of big benefits of targetted advertising on sites like FB =)

  • horrible
