  • To let beejay pee01 know. This is a french instrument called a bombarde. It is a double reed instrument more like an oboe. It is mainly used in folk music in the normandy region of France. Being an extremely loud instrument it is generally played outside. As you may be able to tell, it is easily heard over the organ.
