I believe Van Patrick was the original "SUNDAY" voice (aside from his sportscasting - he owned radio stations)

I had a bran new 66 Nova SS. Detroit Dragway cost me a lot of money in broken parts!! I loved it!!

Some good memories of racing there in '66-'67.

Went there a couple of times in 1966.. saw Mr Norm defeat several including Chevoom which exploded and caught fire. It was outrageous!!

Sounds like Rube Weiss and Robin Seymour on this promo. Rube was a local Detroit media guy who did MANY, MANY radio and TV spots. Robin was a deejay on WKMH and WKNR radio.
Why if this is 1966 is Garlits driving a rear engine car?
