Here is how a Prison works, some kid who's not really that tough goes into prison, gets abused physically and emotionally comes out fucked up. Prisons used to work back in the days, now they just worsen criminals, it doesn't rehabilitate them, makes them even more violent than when they went in. And the guys on wall street wipe their asses from the money they make out of these guys.

The violence against the Native Americans was a two way street. While violence is not unique in human history, what is unique is America's attempts to atone for it during the last 50-100 years. To cite a "massive racist conspiracy" in a country with a black president is silly.

I think that America definitely needs to rethink its policy in regards to the War on Drugs; this would thin out much of the prison population.

However, it cannot be denied that, "Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery. (The Color of Crime: Race, Crime, and Justice in America (2005))."
