People who support the 21 law seem to not understand that people below 21 do in fact drink. I'm 19, and I drink! All of my friends drink. Most of us have fake IDs. The mentality of Americans on this issue is ridiculous! Everyone knows that people under 21 consume alcohol. MADD knows this, the government knows this, the general public knows this. This law is contradictory in every single way. I am sorry your aunt is an alcoholic. Age doesn't cure alcoholism.

here's the thing
we love beer in America BECAUSE its illegal until a certain age. The idea that you do something before your technically supposed to feels badass to those people. There isn't a problem in Europe for a reason. It's because people as old as 15 already know their alcohol tolerance and know what they are like when they are drunk. It is much safer when you are familiar with the substance.

this actually helped me with my debate but can you tell me where you found the information involving the studies found that lowering the age to 18 increases fatalitis by 10 %?

Im sorry but if you are going to make speach about something please learn how to speak. You cant make an intelligent point and talk like you only have a third grade education. Im against or for the lowering of the drinking age but good lord please learn to present a point intelligently!
