This Bass has some build in awesome-glands... I love this bass and will install a new bridge soon... The ramp was originally designed for my Fender Jazz Bass Plus V but it fits almost perfect, just the g-string is to close to the tough piece - like in the world of fashion... ;)

Recorded via EDEN WT260 (headphone out) and an iRig into my iPad.
A Boss RC-2 is used for the loop, it's recorded with the same bass but my beloved girlfriend stepped thru the door during the first attempt, so, I kept the loop and used it for this one...

  • it is impossible not to be interested in that kind of playing and sound! thanks for your detailed answer. I hope to find a vintage japanese bass which is not so expensive ! wish me luck! take care!

  • @pikaluni Japan Vintage Basses are still cheap these days! Mine was $130,- 2-3 Years ago... Search for Tokai Jazz Sound & Hardpuncher! Tokai is maybe the best choice. Not that cheap but unbelievable quality and sound! take care,

    joe

  • very nice playing. the sound is also very good. can you tell me the brand of the bass you are playing? Thanks

  • @pikaluni Thanks! The name on the head is "Takumi", but thats not a brand... It's a japanese name. Maybe this was made by a factory member for his own use... The Neck has a stamp saying "JB-500" or something like that... maybe its from the Tokai factory - I think they also produced for Ibanez and later the Squier and Fender Japan-line instruments... I had it at a luthier for a fretjob last week... this baby's soooo sweet now!!! perfect feel, zero noise!!!! thanks for your interest!

  • great stuff..
