Another app that does this is TeamViewer. It's compatible with iOS, Android, Mac, PC, and there's a free version. However, it doesn't stream video nearly as well.

@BRENNANSTECHBITE what i dont ike about it which i excpected was when i turn on the web cam i would be able to see my room from other internet not the same local internet use

cool, I am happy to hear SplashTop is an app for iPhone as well. I might have to buy it for my iPhone? SplashTop app, looks so good on a big screen like an iPad.

I have an iMac and an iPhone and I like using my iPhone more than my mac for things like email, youtube viewing as I can relax on my bed while viewing. If I had an iPad I would definitely buy this app to run my computer while lying on my bed.
