Ondrej Smeykal came to London to give a spectacular acoustic concert and two outstanding didgeridoo workshops.
Here is Ondrej playing one of his favourite yidaki at Aboriginal Arts, a stunning well balanced yidaki in F made by Djalu Gurruwiwi who left it here after his Yidaki workshops last July 2009.
Ondrej Smeykal is available for international didgeridoo lessons, workshops and session work - info@smeykal.com
Ondrej also has some excellent CDs which are available direct from Ondrej or ourselves at Aboriginal Arts.
We have over 200 high quality traditional Aboriginal didgeridoos in stock, give us a call to try them out!

  • the Mozart of the didgeridoo!

  • @didjindutch Thanks for getting back to me...

  • @malibudogtraining Hi Malibu. I guess that it really depends where in the world you are or if you are prepared to travel!!

I know Ondrej spends alot of July in the States (..Malibu...?). best thing to do is email Ondrej himself (address on his website) and see what he has locally.

Ondrej is back in the UK to do a further introduction workshop (introduction to his technique and song composition....thoroughly recommended, I have progressed 200% since) and an advanced workshop too (iDIDJUK)

  • @didjindutch how do I contact him to be part of his workshop?

  • Ondrej has a workshop? does he hold them in Australia ever? How do I get on his mailing list, or buy a instructional CD from him? I love his playing!

  • How does he do it to last that long? well of course Circular breathing but doesn't his mouth get dry or too watery that prevents him from playing that long. Idk thats what happens to me. I can only do 2 to 3 minutes :/

  • @didjindutch

Any chance its possible to explain his technique?

  • phenomenal
