What a lovely reminder of the recording I treasured as a child. I too played this over and over every Christmas. I excited to find it on eBay last year. Alas when I received it, it was so badly scratched, I could not play it. Thank You!!

Dinah Shore sang this on "Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special" (1988).

Ah, Christmas in the 60's. We have this LP and the other one.

I just love this. My brother and I used to play this record over and over in the 1970's on a Pluto record player where the needle arm was a dog bone. Thanks for the good memories.

@75capriceconvertible I probably wont be able to get a new one until after Christmas.

I'm pretty sure the bass is Thurl Ravenscroft, who sang "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".

U had all those records from Goodyear and Firestone when I was a kid. What I liked about this one is that it sounded like she had Lurch from the Addams family singing backup

@reygato Ted Cassidy. He put out some records too. You might be able to find them here on YT. I'm not sure if that's him on this song though.
