Thank you so much for your comments! The first video took five and a half months to create and the second one was done in two weeks with a classmate from VFS as we were both done early with our projects!

With still images we already can't tell the difference, and they are getting better at the animation all the time.

We are steadily climbing up the other side of the uncanny valley.
