@TINRFD Come to think about it I don't think I did say where the water gets in. It can get in around the shifter boots if there not rel good or/and it can get in the top plate on the trans at the back by the seat if the seals not good there. Its hard to keep the water out in a down pore. Thanks for your comments
@TINRFD ya that would have been a good thing to do but I don't have one so I tryed to scrape most of it off and was carefull not to get any dirt inside it. I try to show as much of the work as I can so other people can learn what to do or not to do lol
I bought my DB 1200 with a seized engine, it had sat outside for a long time. The transmission oil was full of water, it looked like chocolate milk. In freezing weather the hyd pump (front mount on a 1200) would lose its prime and all hydraulics would quit. I'm looking forward to seeing how you get this old girl fixed. Great videos!
Ok, that´s an proper excuse to me...;-)
I´m a bit curious, how it is actually possible, that that much water can find it´s way in there ...o_Ô
Do you have a clue...?
Best regards from Germany and keep it up!

Don´t you think, you should have pressure washed it a bit, so no dirt can get inside when you´re disassembling it...?
just imho...

Thanks. Part three will be upload today. In on of my other videos you can see the front end loader pick the back of an old car up with no problem.
