At 2 years and 4 months old, Elise Tan- Roberts becomes the youngest member ever of the high IQ fraternity Mensa .

How Smart Is She?

Not only does Elise know her shapes, but the London resident also can count in Spanish. But her favorite thing to do is recite world capitals. She knows 35 of them, including Paris,Tokyo and Washington D.C.

Young Elise's IQ is an astonishing 156. Compare that to Albert Einstein's 160, and you realize just how smart Elise really is considering she still has so much to learn.

Though Mensa can only test people older than 10, Elise was accepted because of a previous "evidence application" that confirmed her IQ score was within the top 2 percent of the population, according to British Mensa's Web site. Elise was 845 days old when she joined the international high IQ club.

  • WHy does the mother seem to be hiding in this video.

  • @mrjeovanni45 If you want to go then get out of here, but after you take citizenship in another country don't expect us Americans to ever take you back.

  • @mrjeovanni45 Not all American are really stupid.Just like non all black are poor and on welfare.I'm tired of people saying Americans are so stupid after all the things we've invented and all the highly educated people we have here.I've been to Europe before and I liked it,but the grass is no always greener on the other side.Certain things that you like doing here you can't do over there.A lot of programs that they have here for the poor or unemployed they don't have over there.

  • some attention.

  • She is so adorable. Her hair is so pretty and super long for a 3 year old.I'm going to start studying this stuff more because I can't believe a 3 year old knows more capitals than me(A college student).lol I bet they never let her watch tv,and they've probably been drilling this stuff into her head for at least a year.It is impressive but a 3 year old really has no need to know that stuff.I mean really for what reason did she need to know all these capitals other than so her parents can get

  • @silentobservor Then explain her IQ of 156 and why she knows what an isosceles triangle is. I learned about isosceles triangles in 6th or 7th grade certainley not 2nd grade.

  • @jagkeum1212 Really now.

  • @movcrit thats what I mean actually. Also, we dont know how fast she learned. Lets say dad, taught her this stufff 8 hours a day for a year long. In my book you are a genius when you understand concepts average persons can not.

  • @StrangeDeimos She's smart and genius level perhaps but learning what she has learned is next to nothing compared to the history's genius. Being a genius means you learn fast and what she has done is just that learning a lot given her age. This of course means she could normalized as she gets older and decrease in her rate to learn as she ages.

  • @movcrit I dont care if shes a genius really. but imo I see a drilled child with a publicity hungry daddy. If shes a confirmed genius at this young age where are her thoughts? Its all action reaction. You cant label someone a genius at age 2.
