haha you had the same idea i was thinking, assemble it in the garage because my whole house is carpet, exept the kitchen, anyways if you end up reading this, whats the point of 2 dvd drives?

It's not too difficult. Research for a few weeks and you can probably handle doing it yourself.  Learn the terminology and parts first.
