The 24 communities in the watershed rainforest area in Santa Cruz also plant thousands of native trees, and are opposed to REDD, and say that any involvement with REDD project would be for them - unethical.

I've been composting my waste for about 5 years. I have never understood the western concept of using fossil fuels to pump billions of gallons of fresh water hundreds of miles chemicaly treating it, processing it, putting it on railroad cars taking it to another country and dumping it.
