Hundreds of Occupy Oakland protesters was surrounded on all four sides by police at Broadway and 19th who had them boxed in and were firing tear gas, but they escape by running through the fenced in field.

It appears to have become merely a duel with the police. Besides flooding the streets, getting a rush by "fucking with the cops," and claiming taxpayer owned buildings as your own, what's the endgame? I like rebellion too but when intelligent badasses do it and results are achieved - although feeling "cool" is a result I guess, just not very interesting.
