A gorgeous song written by Cole Porter in 1936 that Sinatra's genius reinvented in 1956. The arrangement by Nelson Riddle is groundbreaking and cradled Sinatra in a perfect musical setting. If Sinatra was alive today his act would have been called "Sinatra and Riddle"

"Dead on!" -- The New York Times
"Amazing talent. Like Sinatra in his prime." Mark Simone, WABC radio

From the nationally televised Public Television Special, "My Sinatra: The Songs and the Stories starring Cary Hoffman" -- as seen on 35 public television stations around the country. Produced by Al Tapper ("Broadway: The Golden Age") and Jon Small (Garth Brooks, Elton John and Billy Joel).

  • This song was written in 1932 for the movie "The Gay Divorcee" starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. It was not written in 1936.

  • very nice song. the temptations version was better. :)

  • @TerryArtanis If you haven't figured it out yet the arrangement is in the key of "D" as recorded by Sinatra in 1957. Nelson Riddle arrangement. Do you want a copy?
