The old story goes it rained for forty days and nights. Beforehand, Noah supposadly had a vision that God told him to build an ark and have 2 of every kind of animal on it. When the rain came the world flooded. Every day Noah sent out a white dove in search of land. One day the dove cam back with a small branch--signaling that the flood was over and humanity had it's second chance.
In this, Miku is "Noah" :)
