Stacy presents an unusual case. Her previous breast augmentation in excess of 500cc per breast left her skin thin and stretched. Her right breast had moved past the mid-line and both breasts were malpositioned. Dr. Handel recommends removal of the implants, explantation, allowing the tissue to heel for 3 months and then performing a secondary revision. The only complication is that the patient wants implants in excess off 700cc. The case is difficult because it balances what is safe for the patient verses what the patient wants. Dr. Marc Mani performs the revision, while Dr. Handel is on temporary leave (relaxing after the birth of his first child), implanting 550cc implants. The patient is happy with her result but intends to go larger n the future.
