IF YOU COMPLAIN ON MY VIDEO ABOUT ME BEING A WHINGER, THAT MAKES YOU AN EVEN BIGGER WHINGER!!! So if you don't like whinging then shut up and CLICK THE VIDEO OF MY AWESOME TRIP TO TASMANIA OF ALL THE GOOD THINGS I SAW IN HOBART. I will not approve any more naggy whining comments from Tasmanians on this video so don't bother and stop trying. Hypocrites

You have no excuse to whinge at me. If you were in my shoes and traveled 10 hours on a boat and then 4 hours on a tiny road to quarantine (who didn't even ask me to show them anything in my car or do ANYTHING that would actually protect Tasmania) and then drove for 5 hours on pothole roads that were too slippery to drive more than 30kph then YOU would be whinging my friend, so go away!

  • From what I see in this video and have heard else where, the quarantine doesn't sound very efficient. They make you queue for ages then some people get waved through. They really ought to prioritise the queue and maybe have all the caravan/camper-vans go last since they'd take the longest. No doubt they don't bother with adequate staffing either.

  • @jezeats Yeah, people always use the argument that the quarantine is just doing its job. But I waited on this little road for over 2 hours (and everyone else had their engines running and the fumes were so bad) and then once I got to the quarantine area, they didn't look inside my car whatsoever, they just said do you have fruit and I said no, and yes, they wave people through without asking them anything at all

  • No wonder people a whinging about this. i have just watched some unforgiving tourist who go to Tasmania to enjoy our wonderful scenery and then whinge about being stuck in quarantime for hours. well girly they do that so people can't take things into Tasmania that would harm our beautiful state. we are very lucky we don't have problems here which they have on mainland Australia and this is the best way to keep it that way. GET A LIFE GIRLY

  • @mollymitch1 See my above comment, the quarantine did not check anything, it was just a traffic jam and a lot of cars went through without being asked anything. They asked me if I had fruit and I said no and they waved me on. I could of had anything in my car. The quarantine doesnt stop anything, it was just a traffic jam.

  • Tassie is the best place in the world! seriously!!!

  • Ahh Tasmania one of only few places in the world where my sister and I can live happily and start a family of our own without being judged.

Just shitting you Tasmania looks amazing! I love asking my girlfriend to show me her map of Tassie :D

  • @jezeats No not all the way but for a good 3 hours I was going between 10kph-30kph. It took me 6-7 hours to get to hobart and under 3 hours on the way back to devonport when it wasnt wet or anything. It had been hot during the day then a sudden cool change with fog at night and it made the road ridiculously slippery

  • @CEB703 What the hell are you talking about? I'm not american.

  • I am an American living in Australia...Congratulations on giving Australians another reason to see Americans in a negative light...you need to delete this video....seriously

  • that looks like a superfast ferry, maybe superfast ix or x. did you see any indications?

ps superfast used to sail between rosyth and zeebrugge.

  • i went to tasmania and something bad happened to me....go to you-tube site "un humanrights australian hrc" and read my comments for my story.

  • Also if you're doing a daytime sailing, you might be better off finding somewhere in Devonport or even Launceston to stay the night before driving to Hobart. Otherwise, do an overnight sailing.
