Castlevania CotM - Boss Fight - True Dracula and Ending

Well, I'd like to name him as that of PoR's well, he has three basic moves at first. The first one is he fires lasers and burn the ground. Next is where he unleash a bunch of poisonous clouds at you and Lastly, he summons a Meteor Storm. Once his health has been reduced to half. He becomes temporarily Invulnerable and starts charging at you which will in turn deal an all powerful damage. In this time, you need to Roc Wing to avoid it easily. When he stops using those charges, he turns into a floating eye, this is where you hit him, but beware though, since he isn't that open, he has a lot of giant bats acting as his shield so you can't touch him that easily. As a strategy I used here, I farmed the pluto and uranus cards first before confronting him, at first I used pluto + manticore so that my sub-weapon uses MP instead of hearts when I could've used the Venus + Salamander to boost my cross damage. When he starts using the meteor storm, I use Uranus + Thunderbird since Thunderbird is probably the strongest summon of Nathan and summoning also gives you invincibility frames. At half health, I simply Roc Winged to the ceiling and when the eye Appears I summon Thunderbird and used the summon power up trick. This trick is done by switching your DSS in the middle of summoning to Venus + Salamander. This boosts the damage of your summon for a fair amount. On half health I just repeated this strategy and finally ending the battle on his third appearance.

What version of the game are you playing, that shows what the combo card effects do. In my version it doesn't say anything- even after I've used them.
