passing of Whitney Houston reminds me of contribution of artists that made my musical life better who R gone & far more forgotten..I dedicate this stunning religious experience of a song to the late Mary Hansen (that's her to the left of the singer,on bass) who was killed riding her bike 10years ago this December. Sad..but she&band left a huge body of work that I think others will be enjoying for yrs2come. A seminal band w/ a deep deep catalogue=I think even the Velvets wld bow down b4 this

My favorite concert experience ever was seeing Stereolab play in support of the Dots and Loops album. They closed that show with a 20+ minute version of "Jenny Ondioline" that absolutely blew me away.
