@TheSexyStarlet00 The movie was to based in New York before they scraped it to start over from scratch since Voltron in New York is just plain retarded. One of your pictures clearly shows the Statue of Liberty, a New York structure, meaning this is from the failure of a movie concept they wanted to do but thankfully got scrapped in favor of something better.

@TheSexyStarlet00 : I'm an 80s kid and I was perfectly pleased the first time with Voltron as well as everything else from that era. When it's done right the first time you don't need a remix.

actually looks like it Thunder cats and Voltron this era became reverse like back then Voltron is an anime (Dairugger XV,Go Lion and Albegas "Albegas version never been released") But while Thundercats is not "completely" an anime but still directed by a japanese animator. Now this Era Voltron became a regular cartoon while Thunder cats became a full pledge anime... Hm.. I think for now Im rooting for thundercats remake cause the animation is really awesome.. BUt voltron Ill see the toys 1st :)

Voltron is an anime, not a cartoon. the original Japanese title I think was "Beast King GoLion", any numerical statements I have trouble mentioning, but in the Japanese original version there was a LOT more death than in the English dub.
still, they should have just stuck to the classic design of Voltron and leave it be, even that asshat behind Babylon 5 had the right idea with leaving the original Lion designs unaltered.
Voltron FORCE is coming yall!!!!

@TheSexyStarlet00 : So if the 80s are 'over' and we need to 'accept it move on' then why does hollywood and TV keep going BACK to the 80s for material instead of coming up with something new? You contradict yourself in your statement.
The bottom line is nobody is trying to repaint the Mona Lisa, re-sculpt Michelangelo's David, or recompose Beethoven's 5th. A work of art is something that stands alone and does not need alterations. Come up with your own ideas, and leave the classics alone.
