  • the question i have is why is it ok for gay men to do drag and not many straight men have been shown. i am a drag queen and am married with a child. i love being dressed and do goto some events though i have retired from the drag circuit to care for my family i still do goto parades and other events now and then. i would classify myself as more a transgenderist now than strictly male drag queen but still the point is why is there no more on people like that?

  • Thanks for checking out this video. First of all, this particular episode is about S.F. drag icon and artist, Bebe Sweetbriar and her story. I did do a documentary two years ago about the different facets of San Francisco Drag Culture, and found the scene to be dominated by gay men. Only at the premiere, I came across two cross dressers. I am in the process of interviewing a straight couple in S.F. who are cross dressers. Their episode will be on in a couple of months.

  • i truly commend u 4 this!

  • I stand corrected. More power to you.

  • actually leebra i consider myself to be transgender more than crossdresser. to me it is not just the clothing of the oposite sex i plan to one day have breast augmentation and facial feminization but for the time being i live and dress as a woman i do drag shows for the fun of it but i am also married to a real woman and have a child. in a sense i consider myself a lesbian woman with some extra equipment. this view allows me to be ME and i am happy with that view.

  • If you are straight, you would be considered a cross dresser.

  • cool i was just curious is all. i just wanted to let people know there are those of us out here who are very much into the culture but that just cause were drag queens doesnt mean were gay is all. this is a very well done documentary BTW,

  • Eloquent, inteligent, socialy active; APPRECIATED!

    GOOO BEEBS!!
