Touching the 20 kilovolt anode from my portable flyback driver. :-P

Explanation: I wasn't touching the ground while doing this. So the high voltage anode has just charged me with static electricity. I felt only a slight shock sensation. The arc at the beginning was just for comparision, because the same arc would strike my finger and give me a serious punch to the chest if I would have touched the ground potential.

  • I once touched both ground and HV wire of my flyback (ZVS) and got shock of my life

  • @TheError404 The magic trick in this video was me having just a stray capacitance to ground, so a very tiny amount of current passed through my body to ground (few microamps). If I had a perfect insulation against ground (boots, i.e.), no spark would appear and the supply would charge me up like a capacitor. And contrary if I had been grounded in this experiment, I'd get a pretty nasty shock, too.

  • I want to see High voltage Penis

  • @Mrcomputergeek1 So, stop talking and go try it. ;)

  • u couldove killed yourself. Nice video though

  • @Mrcomputergeek1 Sorry to say mate, but you're talking bulls**t. Learn about low powered flyback drivers first... :)
