  • this advice is amazing thank you

  • His heart's in the right place, but it's remarkable how meandering, pointless, and unhelpful these videos are.

  • Expertvillage is part of the reason why I now throw "-ehow" into my web searches.

  • @kenziegunn Dude, I get that, and I take back what I said. For all I know this guy is a great writer and is more successful in that field. You're right being famous is not the thing to aim for, it's more important to be good at something. Thanks for picking me up on that.

  • @SethHesio People always say this. He's not telling us how to be famous, he's giving us helpful tips for perfecting our craft. Success and craft don't go hand in hand. There are a lot of idiots out there with none. It's about being good at something, not getting famous. At least that's what it should be.

  • Someone doesn't have to be the best at something to be a good teacher. For example, look at all your sports stars. Most were probably taught the basics from their parents or high-shcool coaches. You take the basics and you build on that. It's true that what this guy is saying more than likely wont make you a comedy star. It's just a guideline to help you get your foot in the door so to speak.

  • No offence but since Chris Murphy has been a stand up for 15 years and I have never heard of him I could be two and two together and conclude he's not that good at it... But teachers are important and if he can impart knowledge and help people refine their craft then I'll watch some more of his videos.

  • Damn shame because I was trying to learn something but the "teacher" wouldn't allow it. Was this one of the worst "self-help" videos on this planet? Maybe Expert Village should refrain from using the term "Expert" so loosely.

  • im in the killing fields...

  • Draining person? what does he mean? negative people?
