To all of the dedicated Lori Martin fans who grew up watching the "National Velvet" TV show, this site is a tribute to her for all of you to enjoy. Sadly, we lost her in April (2010). And I have to thank my friends and the many contributors of all of these wonderful old photos of Lori Martin, among whom were Malcolm James for granting me permission to add his "Cape Fear" stills, Ron Gratz, Evelyn Mayton, and Marion Higgins. It was truly a combined effort of love...love for Lori Martin...who made this slideshow possible with their awesome contributions from their old collections of photos saved for all of these years. Thanks for everyone's support and encouragement to me to build this tribute to our favorite little actress whom we all loved so much and dearly miss. You know, Just found out today that Lori had died last year-I was totally saddened to hear this. Many years ago I was completley taken by her on National Velvet. Thank you so much for putting together this wonderful tribute to her. Not much more I can say except Rest In Peace, beautiful little lady.

I am just finding out, that Lori Martin died in April. I had a crush on her dating back to her days, of course on National Velvet, on Sunday Nights, I also remember her from an appearance on Leave it to Beaver-Whitey and Beaver both had a crush on her. What beautiful memories she leaves behind for me.

What a beautiful surprise to see this excellent video as I stop by to see Lori's videos. You've included some real sharp photos of her I had not seen. She was very fortunate to have such lovely distinguished features, especially at an early age. I always thought she was star material, but with the crush I had on her I'm biased in her favor I guess. Disappointed she had to leave so soon and will miss her. Thanks again.
