40 years on - The first ever Unicorn single. Written by Jimmy Webb. Also appears on the 'Uphill All The Way' album. This is the 2006 remix, thanks to Pat Martin for allowing me to use this version and for once again raiding the brilliant website for four more pictures to enhance the video and supplying me with the Band credits for this track :-
Pete Perryer : Lead vocal,backing vocal,drums,percussion.
Ken Baker : Harmonium,Piano,backing vocals.
Pat Martin : Fender Bass,lead guitar on intro and outro,backing vocals.
Trevor Mee : Rickenbacker 12 String,Gut string Spanish guitar,backing vocals and vocal arrangement.

Produced by Hugh Murphy (Producer some years later of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty)
Recorded at Sound Technique Studios,London.(Engineer Gerry Boys)

  • Has some lovely guitar work in this song, backing vocals in perfect harmony. Very uplifting track. Jimmy Webb was a fantastic songwriter too, who could ever forget MacArthur Park and the hits he gave Glen Campbell. This is a top class version by Unicorn, all round excellence, cheers for uploading it Steve
