The point of the movie is that you are never worse off believing that good will happen. Believing that is it's own reward. Even when it doesn't happen, striving for good has a positive impact on the situation. Believe that good things will happen; it shouldn't be controversial.

Going through a rough patch in life right now, and for some reason I felt like watching this old piece of nostalgia. I haven't seen it in years, maybe over a decade. The ending is great, especially the wave and Knox adopting the kids. Thank you Youtube for having this movie, and thank you Disney for putting out a great movie. This movie was the most uplifting thing I've seen in a while, and reminded me that someone or something is always watching out for me.
