Lou Dobbs -- Cohen&Grigsby seminar Part 2: 6/22/2007

Christine Romans does a second report about a video that was put on YouTube of an immigration seminar. The video clips were put on youtube by a law firm called Cohen & Grigsby who held an immigration seminar on May 15, 2007 in Pittsburgh. Topics included a tutorial for employers who want to import foreign workers by using H-1B, H-2B, and green cards. Some of the subjects covered included instructions to employers how to avoid hiring qualified and interested American workers. Dobbs got it right when he said that this is a blatant attempt to screw American workers.

Senator Chuck Grassley and Kim Berry of the Programmer's Guild are interviewed.

I whoole heartedly agree. Not only do I speak 5 languages, but I am an Eagle Scout, I have a B.S. in education, and I served my country for 7 years in the U.S. Navy. It's been almost 3 years, and I still have not found a job: from Taco Bell, to AT&T, the jobs aren't here for me.

You could not be more wrong. We live in a country that is By the people, For the people, and Of the people. Who said that defeating evil was easy? You sound like a defeated man. Do you really think America would have gained it's independence from Brittian with people saying things like you just did?

Being from poland and as a new computer science grad from American college my experience was exactly the contrary. It took 3 months for me to land an OK offer while most of my American classmates got offers earlier than me. Many companies came to the on-campus job fair with a 'No sponsorship for H1B's', because of the saved cost and hassles from the immigration procedures.

It is clear that many companies will not sponsor H1B if they can hire an American.

Wake up America. There's nothing you can do about it. Corporations and organizations that support his such as the ACLU are way to powerful for you. Even our senetors and congress can't take them down... who do you think contribute the most to their campaign anyway? There's nothing your going to do about it.

I can PROVE that I am an unemployed BSCS. How long can you keep applying to fake job ads. It is like mental torture to set people up like that.
