I thought it interesting that the toughest movie audience gave this movie a GREAT rating. People don't fool me. And I am not even political.

@spoildn8410 There was not much of an audience at the time of the theatrical release. It grew since then but I think many flip out at seeing a 3 hour plus movie about a very unpopular President.

@Faust6688 Stone knows how to make a kickass film, no doubt. If he could not, he would not

have made a movie centering around the attorney Garrison. The New Orleans D.A. was really the

central character in JFK. Nixon, he was a cult of personality. And he had several, I think. Personalities,

I mean.

@eric090909 A conspiracy ultimately implies a group of people. Still, Stone often mocks himself in a line of dialogue from JFK where Michael Rooker's character says, "Now you are calling the President a murderer!"

Run a search for the Pesci scene in JFK and you'll notice a similar idea. Somebody puts the idea out there, a planner runs with it, it becomes this monster until even, "the shooters don't know." Stone never puts it on one guy.

@Ballerfella2007 In JFK when the Generals are sitting around talking about how "Kennedys tried to make Lem eat shit" (referring to General Lyman Lemnitzer) at the last NSC meeting, there is also a person with this same accent in the conversation.
