@chriswaite1933 Hi Chris, any serious recording of that period should begin now, to get the verbal stories, before any more people die .Obviously gotta be funded, camera and mike backed up with hash, or beer, or vegan soup or whatever the story teller lives on, will go on tour, following the leads, getting it down. Regarding Hawkwind, i saw Burlington Bertie recently, plays trumpet in Nik Turners Allstars . . . as for Gypsy Dave he was well alive just before Xmas . :) . . .

@pmf598 I have to mention a scared John Pendragon turning up one morning having driven from the Bluff. He wasn't the most practical man I ever met. He very rarely checked under the bonnet of his car but that morning he had. What he found was sophisticated sabotage that would have resulted in his car bursting into flames as he drove down the mountain road. I'm sorry now that I never gave him the respect he deserved. If they haven't tried to kill you you're not doing the Revolution right.

@pmf598 So many little Piod stories spring to mind. Like the time you dropped a bucket on my head when I was digging Bender Pauls well. Was that deliberate? Had I made some flippant comment that deserved it? I looked up and you were grinning, framed against the sky by the mouth of the well.
Then there was Paddy's suggestion, "Give it a tweak." Gary tweaked the crowbar and the Scout shed A-frame came crashing down, you jumped back into the corner and it fell at your feet. That was a close one.

Respond to this video... Jack was sent to coventry by many of the locals because of this. He started selling off the land to settlers. Companionship and money were much better than dying of loneliness. Does that help you understand some of the local attitudes? Instead of a profitable Ski Resort they got you. Of course I'm saying Jack but Hilda was at least an equal partner in this. When she lost her eye chopping wood it knocked her back quite a bit. They ran a vegetarian B&B in the 50's

@pmf598 Of course our wonderful intelligence agencies know who I am but they can get stuffed. Traitors. It's the crazies who pose a threat.
History Of The Piod.
That would have to start with the Ski Resort. Jack was a bit shy about that one. Some local businessmen wanted to build an artificial ski run on the hillside you're probably looking at right now. They needed Jacks farm for the access. He refused on the grounds it would ruin the valley. Many of the local farmers wanted the huge profits.

@pmf598 Hi Paul. If you look at the date I started this channel then do a news archive search on the Ninian Central Platform you'll find it took only a few days for me to get the Ninian shut down for inspection using comments made from this channel. That's just one of the ways I've made lots of serious enemies through using youtube. I hope you take me seriously when I say please, please, please don't mention my name. I don't want to make it easy for the nutters to get revenge, I've got family.
