A movie slideshow tribute to one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of Hollywood's golden age: Rita Hayworth.
The photos are from the role and film that made Hayworth internationally famous: the role of Dona Sol des Muire in "Blood and Sand" (1941). Photographed in beautiful Technicolor, "Blood and Sand" was one of the most acclaimed pictures of 1941 and it told the story of a Spanish's matador rise to fame and decline.
Although Tyrone Power got top billing and more screen time in the picture, Rita, playing the "other woman" who led him to his demise, stole every scene she was in and looked beautiful and sexy in every shot.
The song played is "Kiss of Fire", recorded by Georgia Gibbs in 1952, peaking at #2 on the Billboard charts.
