Just so so awful. Ruins the whole concert. The 10th Anniversary is far better overall anyway especially with Phillip Quast as Javert.

His voice was definitely enhanced in some way for the DVD - he didn't sing with that much ooomph live! Strained voice, strained face, poor acting - completely spoils the 25th for me.

i wish he sang like this with the jonas brothers, not that deeper, but sometimes he doesn't sing that well and he has got an incredible voice

Nick was a better Marius than I thought that he would have been. I am glad he played this part and not the part or Garbrosh like he did when he was younger or I would have been bawling. Maybe someday he will play the part of Valjahn. That would be cool! I hope that he plays the part in a Disney broadway show like maybe Aladdin, Prince Eric or the Beast someday!

If Cameron didn't think Nick was capable, he wouldn't have cast him. He's not about to put his stellar reputation on the line just to sell a few more tickets. But it didn't hurt that Nick brought a whole new audience in for the NEXT 25 years of Les Mis.
