1993 WR 250 wasn't warm enough so it died at the end. I have another video after it warmed up a little.

  • Nice bike!

  • @maxpower2181 Thanks dude!

  • I was wondering if this is the same engine that was in the yz's of its time but just with different gearing?

  • @Arkon086 Hey sorry it took me so long to reply but I'm not sure I will look into and let you know.

  • @Arkon086 Basicaly the same engine as a YZ, but different gears and carb depending on year,1st was lower, 2nd and 3rd was close, 4th and 5th was tall...I had a 1992 WR250 and could leave anyone on a motocross bike in the dust....Back then they had 4 cylinders...A, B , C and D cylinders..A being the smallest bore and D being the largest bore...Yamaha had a kit that would raise the cylinder about 5 MM, basically adding stroke...My friend added this kit to his WR and it added some serious power..

  • @Arkon086 its the same engine with a heavier fly wheel for lower end power for the trails, also had the kick stand and a larger gas tank, may have slightly different gearing but alot of the difference is the fly wheel weight

  • if that was my bike id put a lighting coil in it and a more powerful stator then put lights on that bitch, register it for street use and ride it on the road. yeah fuck the environmentalist!
