@cott10r they were fishing for $125,000. 2nd place got 33,287. & so on. Plus by winning one of these tournaments it could bring a lot of sponsorship money your way. I've watched Deadliest Catch & they don't make that kind of bank & go through way worse odds at making it back.

This was actually out of Kenlake Marina there in Aurora, KY. I was one of the camera boat/chase boat drivers that day and fortunately Tom Mann Jr., who I was following, elected to stay in the marina until the storm blew over. It was one unbelievable lightning storm. Kenlake marina cooked us up a great breakfast while we waited.
