From our June 5, 2009 "Across the Universe" Concert in Campbell, CA. The Choral Project, founded by Artistic Director Daniel Hughes in 1996, has developed an outstanding reputation for performing high-level choral literature and bridging the gap between text and music, singer and spectator. Our Vision is "to heal our world through music and words". Our music is available on iTunes and at www.choralproject.org

  • Wow, you sang this WAY too fast. Also, why do the altos have the melody? It should be tenors. But there's no denying you guys are talented.

  • i love every bit of it, there is nothing wrong with this peace, ya'll deliver the message and that is what music is for, i feel the compassion ya'll have for love and music, i like the difference with the tenors, it adds a different tone, but its still beautiful.

  • trying to find this song sung by 3 women and 2 men. at least i found the tune here. THe one i am talking about was on a song sampler.

  • we're doing this in my school and tenor's do have the melody.

  • Finally! The perfect pace. Most versions of this drag on and on. Great.

  • @leahlikestai this isn't the decision of the choir... they're just following the conductor, this has nothing to do with talent or not talent! (Of course they are :)

  • wonderful

  • un capolavoro di armonie, grandi ragazzi...ma J.T l'ha ascoltata???

    bravo

  • I really like this arrangement. Something different than the regular King's Singers one that I'm most familiar with. And no, I don't think the performance was too fast. People need to realize that a conductor will take a piece as fast or as slow as he/she feels. I really hate it when people needlessly critique videos.

  • @JazzHalesBabyGurl :) I'm glad you have passion about this song. I interpret it differently.

  • @ffdaydreamer I think that the dissonance adds character and tension. The song's title is LONESOME road, not friendly, sunshiney road. This was written when Taylor was in a depressive state. The dissonance shows the collision his life was under at that time. Also, the song ends with an untonal mode. Showing that his state never really ends.
