Personaly I think it really sucks - As their is much to enjoy in this region if it were possible.
However, at the end of the day, an ultra hostile society, combined with a (gullable or corrupt?? - perhaps a bit of both?) "Justiz" system, unfortunatley makes east Germany a very poor propersition for any future business or partnership plan; - As anybody who has previously spent time in this area should be able to tell you.
Once again, Leipzig is ensuring a hostile enviroment for (- often invited) visitors.
When asked, Saxon officials (Z.B Rathaus employees), simply say "it´s a known political problem" that certain locals (Z.B Hausmeister/Taxifahrer) create legal problems by creating a chaotic outrage; Then claiming to hostile authorities that it was the "Guest" that caused it.
The ensuing legal battle, appears to give these notoriously strange people, some sort of "kick". An odd mentality by our standards -
- but a true situation.
