This is a review I did of my KSC USP Compact. As stated in the video, it is the new System 7 design.

Info:
-Manufacturer: KSC (Japan)
-Real Steel Counterpart: Heckler & Koch USP Compact
-Construction: Metal Slide, Polymer Frame
-Muzzle Velocity: 320 FPS (Green Gas)
-Caliber 6mm BBs
-Ammo Capacity: 22 Rds
-Price: $100 USD

Unique Features:
-Safety Lever acts as a Decocking lever
-Full Trademarks

Real Steel Facts:
The Heckler & Koch USP is a high quality firearm made in two sizes, the full frame and the compact, and is available in popular calibers such as the .45 ACP, 9x19mm Parabellum, and the .40 S&W. It was designed in the early 1990s primarily for the US Civilian and Law Enforcement market. It is currently in use by various police forces around the world and is the standard-issued sidearm of the German Military, as well as being the weapon of choice for Jack Bauer (for all those 24 fans, including myself).

The redesigned KSC USP Compact is, like most other KSC guns, superb. With it's metal slide and polymer frame, the gun is a great replica of the real steel.

The polymer frame, unfortunetley, creates some wobble with the slide, which can be a turn off to any Gas Blow Back enthusiast. When jamming the magazine in, the slide might move forward on its own, denying one of a]the satisfying feel of using the slide release lever, and sometimes it does this without chambering a round.

Despite these problems, i still find the USP Compact to be an excellent gun. it is small and light, while still being accurate and powerful. I have not come across any problems with the magazines so far either.

Overall, the KSC USP Compact is a great gun, but i would go ahead and spend 20 dollars more for the KSC P226, but it is mainly up to ones preference.

  • I have a question for you sir: why are you using green gas in a Japanese made airsoft (KSC as opposed to KWA)? I thought they were designed for HFC134a & HFC22 Gas? Isn't green grass stressful on the internals? I could be ill informed but that's what I heard.

  • @Soundwave85 This is the Taiwanese version. It has a metal slide and is designed to work with Green Gas.

  • Your hands must be fucking huge. That thing looks so dinky in them!

  • @AdamTehBoss No, not at all. My hands are small. I take a small glove size.

  • HKD? forgive me, but what is that?

  • @SOFTIHUVVET Hong Kong Dollars

  • Not hating but it's heckler and kotch...

  • @gundamskull45 If you're talking about this one it's the Japanese version. He says right in the description.

There's several KSC/KWA levels, KSC Japan the original. KSC Taiwan, usually a metal slide/frame depending and then KWA the US market version of KSC guns to get around trademark infringement.
