Thanks for posting a review on this fight! I was overwhelmed with who might win. I am usually for El Perro, but there was definitely something about Kirkland in this fight that had my vote for him. Intense and awesome fight! I was definitely concerned with Kirkland's training method and his trainer. On top of that, El Perro's trainer was Nacho Beristain! That's one smart guy to have in your corner. But in the end, it's the fighter fight and not anyone elses. Thanks again for this! Great Fight!!!

For those of you calling this fight of the year, I suggest you watch Hernan Marquez - Luis Concepcion 1, unlike Angulo-Kirkland that was great only for 2 rounds, Marquez-Concepcion was a war that lasted over 10 rounds, Non stop action, and to quick going with the great wars, watch Linares vs DeMarco, watch that last round, the 11th, Great Round for all of you Boxing fans.

@angelfleet1 Watch Marquez vs. Concepcion 1, That fight IS the Fight of The Year so far, like Angulo-Kirkland, on Marquez-Concepcion 1, both fighters were down and warring on the 1st round, and it went on all the way up to the 11th round. Back and forth action. If you liked Angulo-Kirkland, you'll love Hernan Marquez - Luis Concepcion 1.

This most defiantly should have been a PPV event, and I can Gurantee it would have been have both them not be derailed by their personal life, visa/Prison . they where on this path for a while too bad they didnt get the money they deserve. But their future llok great in the sport

@raymex27 I saw it live as well and i agree he wasnt and shouldnt have been superior over an supposed class A figther like Cinnamon but he didnt just get hit a few he got hit alot and very clean and that probably was an end for Gomez he probably gets dropped in the later rounds but who knows and he didnt stumble back to his corner he was confused like im ok do u think Canelo hits harder than Angulo the Puppy because i think Kirland proved he can take a shot n give one enjoy debating with you
