Parcius junctas quatiunt fenestras
jactibus crebris juvenes protervi,
nec tibi somnos adimunt, amatque
janua limen,

quae prius multum facilis movebat

@khananel You flatter me! Thanks.  I actually am drawing inspiration from Italian in how I speak Latin, while still applying the rhythm of Latin syllables.

Personally, while I like his pronunciation, I find his speaking style too soft. From me, the Latin of the ancient Romans was a strongly voiced and spoken language, a bit like German, or modern Greek, and I tend to prefer the way that Scorpio Martianus reads it.

Indeed, he inspired me years ago to learn how to speak Latin, and he still inspires me today! No one has heard from him in years, sadly. I'm glad I saved all his recordings from his website before it went down along with the text so that I could put it here on YouTube -- now everyone in the world can again enjoy his work.

Once more a beautiful lecture with Nedeljkovic's gorgeous pronunciation. Although there are more and more who know the Roman pronunciation nowadays, few speak Latin in such a natural, restful, and convincing way. I'm looking forward to his next recitation.
