    It is a Dubin and Warren song that appeared in Powell's Broadway Gondolier (with the Mills Brothers - makes the whole movie worthwhile) and was also a big hit for Fats Waller the same year - 1935

    Well, folks . . . these are NOT the original lyrics, of course.

    And Mrcoolj---Monk did not do this FIRST . . . this tune goes back to the splashy Hollywood musical pix of the 1930's . . . I believe Dick Powell had the first big vocal hit with it.
