Formed in summer 2008 by Marc Terry (Ex Rockaine, Big Daddys Toy and finally producer and composer for Paul DiAnno) and rounded out by Darius D. on guitar, Rico Galvagno, on bass and Willi Wurm a weird and crazy kick ass drummer, both ex-members of the bands Darkseed and Lacrimas Profundere. After touring in Mexico, Rico and Willi Wurm made the decision, to do something different. Just in time, Marc Terry was looking for a bass player and a drummer, so Rico and Willy took the chance, and SKIP ROCK was
born.
It didn't take long for the band to be noticed by Sound Force Entertainment, made Skip Rock the signing after Paul DiAnno, Ex-frontman of Iron Maiden. The new EP "Rough and Ready" is available digital on all known download shop worldwide like napster, itunes, amazon ect. A limited edition of CDR`s of the EP will available at Sound Force Entertainment Germany.
In February 2009 Skip Rock have been on tour as official support of SINGER PROJECT- with Eric Singer, Bruce Kulick, John Corabi and Chuck Garric on all German shows. Skip Rock played in front of a big adience, and got positiv feedbacks all over. The local press: "Skip Rock is playing straight, hand made hard rock, and made a realy good job."
At present the band is working on new songs and new show for summer open air festivals. more infos soonest.....
