@janiesanerd I personally don't find the term slave offensive, I find it quite the humbling term. And before Jesus I think we should be humble afterall we're all wretches and hopeless on our own it is only by the blood of Yeshua we are worthy to walk with the lamb and God.

KJV is based on the latin vulgate and it so happens that the latin vulgate is an older manuscript of the bible and in it are some passages not included in earlier manuscripts of the bible such as the ones the New American Standard Bible is based on. For instance compare 1 John 5:7-8 in the KJV and that same verse in the NASB:

@HaRdzstylerR Why don't you quote the rest of that passage instead of perverting the Word of God for your own ends? That passage is talking about pushing the Word out to everyone, saying it can't be held down. It has nothing to do with copyright claims.
