Intervista di Kobe Bryant in Italiano andata in onda su sportitalia l'8/04/07 durante la partita Lakers-Suns. Seconda Parte
Translation :

How many sacrifices has he made to get where he is?
All the things that u want, that u want 2 become as a person, 2 be rly good, 1 of the best, u have to work a lot. U have 2 make whatever sacrifice. There might b a time when youre away from family. If your friends want 2 go 2 a party, u have to work. Its 1 of the things u have to do. U work hard. I started to do this when I was 12, 13 yrs old. Even now - the same thing. If u want to be a really good player, 1 of the best, it's necessary.

Why are you not yet the MVP?
Why I have not yet won the MVP. I don't know. I don't know. It's something that isn't very important to me. It would be beautiful to win it. It would be great. I hope to win it 1 day. But what's more important is to win a championship cause when you have the title of champion all the other things like MVP, whether you score 50 or 80 pts, whatever it is, they all come 2nd. When I talk about winning something, winning the championship is what's most important 2 me

What would've changed if you went to college?
KB: I don't know. I don't know. Well it would have been different because I wouldn't have played for the Lakers. I probably would've gone to another team. I don't know how many championships I would've won. It would've been different, but my heart is always there. How I work, how I think, how I play, how I love to play, it wouldn't be different. The thing that would be different is the team that I play for, and that I would've went to school

The most difficult player you encountered in your career?
KB: The most difficult in my career in the NBA? There've been many. They play with their head. Jordan, Drexler, Stockton, players like that. Also my father. I would play 1:1 against him, it was very difficult for me. I worked a lot. 6 , 8 hours a day. You have to learn 1000 things a day. Only then can one be one of the best, play for the championship. You have to work, 6, 8 hours a day for this, everyday to play for the championship

What does Kobe do when he doesn't play basketball?

Kobe: Eduardo, what do I do to have fun? When I am not playing basketball, I am with my two daughters, Natalia Diamante, and Gianna Maria Onore, we have a lot of fun. Playing, playing video games, I like watching movies, I also really like to go to the ocean. I really like to go to the ocean with my family. That's what I like.

How do you feel after a 50 point game, and who are your favorite soccer and basketball teams in Italy?

Kobe: Daniele, after a 50 point game, I am so very tired. I want to sleep, to rest myself, because there are other games we have to play, and I am very tired. I don't really have a favorite basketball team in Italy, but for many, many years, AC Milan has been my favorite soccer team. But for basketball, I really don't have a favorite team.

favorite Italian dish?
KB: This is the most difficult question this evening, this here! I like pasta carbonara. I really liked it when I was little in Florence, my favorite pasta. Lasgana is not bad. I like gnocchi. Cutlets, I like cutlets. Many things are good! I like a lot of things - pizza! Italian pizza is number one for me! Because the pizza, nobody else can make it, you cant find it the way it is in Italy. Not in America, anywhere in the world. The pizza in Italy is the best!

What do you think of Phil Jackson givng you books?

Kobe: First of all, I think it's a wonderful thing. He is the author of a book. It is very special because it shows he thinks about the players as people away from the game, off the court. The last book he gave me was called Blink. I liked it, I liked it.

Thank you very much for being here with me. Thanks for supporting our team. I hope you had fun. Thanks a lot. We will see each other soon, I hope. Happy Easter. Ciao!
