  • This was filmed in two-color Technicolor. Only two features were filmed in that format by the studio during 1932 {"Doctor X"} and 1933 {"Mystery of the Wax Museum"}. Because of the Depression, the studio postponed production on any further color feature films until several years later [however, some live-action shorts and the studio's post-1934 "Merrie Melodies" cartoons were filmed in color].
