FRENSWOOD ACADEMY CH.55 part 1(A Jonas Story)

January 18th 2007
(Haley)

Haley woke up before her alarm at 4:27 AM that Saturday morning. She flipped her pillow over to the cool side, threw her body into different positions on her twin sized still nothing, she just couldn't get back to sleep. Finally, she got up and went to the kitchen for a glass of warm milk. Even as she eased onto one of the bar stools that lined the counter, she knew this attempt to feel sleepy would fail just as the others did.

Because it wasn't just insomnia that was preventing from catching a few Zs, there was something nagging at her subconscious, something that she was supposed to remember about that day. Rolling the glass of milk between her hands, she raked her brain for possible things that she may have forgotten.

"well no one's having a birthday soon...and I already called mom and dad like two days ago so what is it? What am I supposed to remember?" she asked herself "January 18th, January 18th, what's happening on Janua-
"oh DUH!" she exclaimed, hitting her forehead hard against her palm
Wincing she rubbed her now red forehead "I'm such an idiot. The boys are in town for their concert today. That must be what's got me all jittery."

Haley got up and poured the rest of her milk down the drain then made for the bathroom. She still felt a little off though, like something was still missing, but she wrote it off as a bad case of nerves. She grabbed her tooth brush, put some toothpaste onto it, and flipped on the radio resting on the sink.

The last few seconds of a commercial advertising dentures was playing at the time but then the upbeat radio station theme song cut in and a female radio host started to talk.
"Rise and shine London," the perky host said "it's another gorgeous day made even more attractive by a visit made by four of the most stunning lads in all of England. That's right, Mcfly's in town for a concert today!"

Some special effects of applause and cheering played and Haley clapped along with the radio.
"To celebrate the occasion, we're playing Mcfly songs every hour today. And now that it's 5:00 AM-"
"whoa, when did that happen" Haley said
"-here's song number one by Mcfly, 'Five Colors In Her Hair'"

The opening cords to the song started to play and Haley instantly started to bob her head to the music, nearly stabbing herself in the throat with her toothbrush. Whenever the boys started to sing the chorus, she'd sing right along, shaking her own multi-colored hair. As the song drew to a close, the voices of Mclfy dimmed, the radio host's grew louder, and Haley resumed the brushing of her teeth.

The host went on to announce a song by another artist but Haley wasn't even paying attention anymore, she'd zoned out right after they'd announced the ticket giveaway. There was something about the mention of tickets that bothered her, and with a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, Haley realized what it was.

"oh my god" she murmured, letting the tooth brush that had been in her mouth fell from her lips unchecked.
"oh my god" she repeated, clutching the sides of the sink and staring blankly at the mirror hanging over the sink

OKAY A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING CONFUSED HERE SO LET ME CLEAR THE AIR. IT'LL BE A COUPLE OF EPISODES BEFORE I ACTUALLY POST THE FINAL CHAPTER OF THE SEASON, THE VIDEO WAS JUST A HEAD'S UP.
