Vivitar 285 HV and SIGMA DG ST 530 Wireless Trigger Test

bought both flash from ebay.
the trigger is PT04 Version 3

The flash are
Sigma DG ST 530
Vivitar 285 HV

All the test fired both flash. Maybe you cant see the flash on the first 2 try. But both did fire.

My PT04 won't work with Sigma DG ST 530. Did you get any different versions or something?

@talkout mine is version 3 anyway i sold the sigma. I bought another vivitar

How you geht the Sigma firing with the Wireless Trigger? My one doesn´t flash with any trigger.

@farisbmx I use the cactus v4 trigger, and also tested it with elinchrom. They doesn´t fire.

@karbon100 i read it somewhere that the cactus does not work with sigma. Thats why i bought the PT04 version 3. Anyway you can try with Vivitar i think it should work. I saw a few videos that is using cactus and vivitar.

I got same problem.Triggers work only with sigma ef-530 st (for nikon only!!)

Is this 530 for canon or nikon?

VIVITAR 285 has NON standard SYNC port - and thus CANNOT use STANDARD sync cables suppled with PW or CACTUS 4/5 !! Does ANYONE know the adapter MODEL number for connecting these sync cables to the V285 ?
